Like it or not mailbox is something which is part of our daily online life to get connected with people closer or farther to us.
We’re all used to the current big players who’ve been giving us features what they felt was beneficial and profitable to them. Every email you open today has a targeted advertisements and interfaces that makes it really cluttered for the user. The current players have almost stopped listening to the user needs which stops them from innovating.
Inboxapp is an Californian based company by MIT alumni’s, who’ve dared to challenge the current big players by providing the users with next-generation email platform which is more functional and adaptable to the current generation. The team who likes to call your inbox as the “the database of your life” is set to change the age old tradition of working on your boring emails.
The platform is built on a open source technology that gives users full control over the data and at the terms the user wants. It comes with modern API’s that makes it fully customisable for ever changing social platform needs.
They are designed around the REST (Representational state transfer) ideology which sits on the existing mailboxes. Once you download the sync engine which comes with modern REST API’s, it integrates with any of your email accounts by making it a development environment. The API’s work for both consumer and enterprise email accounts.
They also plan to release an hosted version which will allow you to deploy the application without any configuration or scaling the infrastructure.
The company is currently funded by top tier investors like Fuel Capital, SV Angel,
CrunchFund, Data Collective, Betaworks, and others.
We,the team of eXi wish them success in their journey.
Your support through any of the social groups is highly appreciated, this will also help them grow their network through you.
